Good news: every bus from Mu Cang Chai to Hanoi passes Ban Lim junction (the paragliding landing field) and then Tu Le. After your flight you do not need to go back to Mu Cang Chai town; just stand at the right spot at the right time.

🪂 Where to catch the bus after your flight
The paragliding landing field is right next to Ban Lim junction on National Road 32, 5 km from Tu Le towards Mu Cang Chai. After your flight you have 3 places to catch a bus:
📍 Ban Lim junction (at the landing field): every bus from Mu Cang Chai to Hanoi passes here. Call the bus company in advance and ask to be picked up "at Ban Lim junction". The Mebayluon team can help call the bus and take you to the junction free of charge.
📍 Tu Le (5 km away, buses pass about 10 minutes after Ban Lim): more restaurants, a more comfortable place to wait, and some bus companies have an office here.
📍 Mu Cang Chai bus station (50 km away): only needed if you stay in town overnight or want a guaranteed seat in peak season, since boarding at the first stop is always safer.
How to estimate times: a bus takes about 1 hour 30 from Mu Cang Chai station to Ban Lim junction (with stops along the way), plus 10 minutes to Tu Le. A private car takes about 60 minutes. Example: bus leaves Mu Cang Chai at 13:00 → passes the flying site around 14:30 → Tu Le 14:40.

⚠️ A few things to know before heading back
• Book ahead and give your pick-up point (Ban Lim junction or Tu Le). Buses coming down from Mu Cang Chai can be full in the golden rice season (Sept–Oct), especially on Sunday afternoons.
• Be there 15 minutes early: mountain-road timings vary from day to day.
• Pack tight: sleeper buses only have under-floor luggage space, so protect cameras and fragile items.
• Motion sickness: the Tu Le → Nghia Lo stretch is full of bends; ask for a front seat and avoid a heavy meal before boarding.
• Rainy season (June–Aug) can bring local landslides on Road 32; ask the bus company about road conditions before heading to the pick-up point.
