The Ha Giang Loop is the most famous motorbike road trip in Vietnam: three to four days of mountain passes, limestone peaks and Hmong villages along the Chinese border. Most riders see it from the saddle. From 15 October 2026 you can also see it from the air — Mebayluon runs a paragliding site at Quan Ba, the first big stop on the loop.
Where Quan Ba sits on the loop
Leave Ha Giang city heading north and the road climbs to Quan Ba Heaven's Gate at around Km 45. Below the pass lies the Quan Ba valley with the Twin Mountains (Nui Doi) standing in the rice fields. That is where we fly — about 1 hour 15 minutes from the city, so it fits neatly into the morning of Day 1.
