👶 Children – an exciting first experience
Many parents assume paragliding is only for adults, but in practice children from around six years old — in stable health and of suitable height and weight — can fly tandem with a pilot. For a child this is a chance to see nature from a completely new angle, to build confidence and a taste for new experiences, and to collect a family memory that really sticks. Children in particular tend to love the feeling of "flying like a bird" as mountains, rice terraces or the sea open up beneath them.
🎓 Students – the age group that loves to explore
This is the largest group of guests flying with Mebayluon. Young, keen on photos and on exploring, they usually pick flights over the golden rice season in Mu Cang Chai or cloud-hunting flights in the northern mountains. These flights aren't only about freedom and discovery — they also produce photos and videos worth keeping, and material for content creators. Paragliding works well too for team building, trips with friends, birthdays, Valentine's Day, graduations and other special occasions.
💼 Office workers – unwinding after the working week
After a stretch of stressful work, many people turn to paragliding as a way to reset. Taking off into open country brings a particular kind of release. Guests aged 25 to 40 usually choose it because they want to try something new before life gets too busy, because they would rather have a memorable experience than an ordinary holiday, or to face down a fear of heights and push past their own limits. Many first-time flyers are surprised at how gentle and smooth the real thing feels compared with what they had imagined.
🧓 Middle age – still fine to fly if you're healthy
Plenty of guests aged 40 to 60 fly tandem without any trouble. What matters is not age but health: stable general health, no serious heart condition, and nothing affecting basic mobility. Many choose paragliding to mark a new milestone, to finally do something they had always wanted to try, or to create a memorable experience with their children and family. Taking off into open country tends to leave people feeling freer and considerably younger.
