Getting to the Khau Pha flying site

The take-off is right beside National Road 32, near the top of Khau Pha pass. The landing field and the Mebayluon Clubhouse are in Lìm Thái village, Tú Lệ commune, next to Ít Thái bridge. The two are about 12 km apart by road.

Driving a car to the landing field: turn off National Road 32 only at the Bản Lìm junction, where a sign points to the paragliding landing field. Do not follow Google: coming down from the top of the pass, it may send you in at the old People's Committee junction (the road into Ít Thái village), which is passable by motorbike only.

  • Arrive 15–30 minutes before your flight.
  • Staying in Tú Lệ commune: add the door-to-door shuttle when you book, 70,000 VND per guest.
  • Staying at Garrya or in Mù Cang Chải town: pick-up 500,000 VND per 4-seat car, each way, added when you book.
